Enjoy reading at Hanauta Library / Pop Up Store at the Club Lounge!
Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa offers Hanauta Shobo library with books selected from the main shop in Nakijin Village in the northern part of Okinawa main island. You can enjoy reading in the lounge surrounded by lush greenery. The selection is exclusively for our guests in the Club Lounge. Books with themes such as travel, Okinawa, short stories, poetry collections, and picture books will be available. Guests who are not staying at the hotel can also enjoy reading in the Lobby Lounge. Our green space in the lobby area is perfect place to enjoy a book. Additionally, a pop-up shop will be set up on March 19th (Tuesday) and March 27th (Wednesday).
Although the books are all in Japanese, we hope that you will appreciate the uniqueness of this opportunity. Perhaps you have a friend or family member who would appreciate such a special gift from Okinawa.

About Hanauta Shobo
Hanauta Shobo is the only bookstore in Nakijin Village in northern Okinawa. It is located in a 50-year-old traditional house and is open only one day a month. The selection of books focuses on items from small-scale publishers that produce books with great care, such as solo publishers, and with the theme of books that would make memorable gifts.
