Come spend your New Year's holidays at Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa where guests of all ages can have a wonderful time together!
To power up the New Year's countdown, we are hosting a live-streamed, original hotel quiz show titled "Year-End Guest Appreciation Festival 2026," which you can join right from your room using your smartphone. The trivia will feature fun, lesser-known facts about Okinawa, inviting you to answer questions by eating, watching, and listening. This year, in collaboration with Yoshimoto Entertainment Okinawa, comedian talent will be joining us to bring extra energy to the broadcast. At the Garden Pool, a local youth association will perform traditional Eisa dancing alongside a spectacular fireworks show, offering a truly unique New Year's countdown experience.
Our festive lineup also includes a New Year's Day Lion Dance featuring distinct Okinawan lion figures covered in banana-plant (basho) fiber, traditional mochi pounding, complimentary sake, a live sanshin performance by the popular Higashi Sisters, and elegant Ryukyuan dancing presented by "Rokka," a group of talented young performers. And guests can take their first swim of the year in the heated section of our Garden Pool—one of the largest pool facilities in the prefecture.
