First Hotel in Okinawa to join the Okinawa Steak Association!
Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa is pleased to announce that, as of February 2026, we have officially joined the Okinawa Steak Association.
In January of this year, we revamped the dinner menu at our restaurant Buffet & Grill QWACHI, to provide an even deeper exploration of Okinawa’s unique culinary culture.
Our new menu features a variety of authentic Okinawan experiences, including:
・"Naha Tuna": Served fresh and never frozen after being landed, offering a melt-in-your-mouth texture.
・Customizable Okinawa Soba: A dedicated station where you can choose from three types of soup and three types of noodles, finished with dozens of topping options.
・"Okinawa Steak": Hearty, flavorful red meat that has been a beloved staple of local food culture since the post-war era.
As a proud member and ambassador of the local steak scene, we are committed to working with the Okinawa Steak Association to further explore the appeal of "Okinawa Steak" and provide a truly premium dining experience.
Furthermore, we are preparing to introduce "B1 Premium Sauce." This sauce was crafted by members of the Okinawa Steak Association as a respectful successor to the iconic "A1 Sauce," which was recently discontinued after decades of popularity among Okinawa residents. The B1 sauce maintains that familiar, rich flavor profile but with a lighter, refined texture.
