New QWACHI Dinner Menu
Introducing Okinawan Steak and Fresh Local Tuna

Beginning January 10, 2026, we will begin offering new dinner menu items at Buffet & Grill QWACHI. We invite you to come and enjoy Okinawan food culture.

Our new menu features a variety of dishes unique to Okinawa including Okinawan Steak, a dish that has become established in Okinawa due to its historical background. Also, we are proud to offer fresh tuna caught in local waters and therefore has never been frozen. We are also offering traditional stir-fry dishes that are found in many Okinawan homes. We hope you will enjoy this journey into Okinawan food culture.

■ Okinawan Steak ~ Beloved by Okinawans

After the war, and even following its reversion to Japan, Okinawa maintained lower tariffs on imported beef compared to the mainland. This accessibility turned beef into a local staple, leading to the development of Okinawa’s unique steak culture.
Today, Okinawa is said to have the highest number of steak houses per capita in Japan. To give you a taste of this local food tradition, we offer a hearty, satisfying Sirloin Steak paired with a variety of popular Okinawan condiments, including the famous No.1 Sauce and OK Steak Sauce. Additionally, for our vegan guests, we offer Seasonal Roasted Vegetables.

■ Freshly Caught Local Tuna

The waters surrounding Okinawa are renowned as some of Japan’s premier tuna fishing grounds. Thanks to the close proximity of these fishing spots to the local ports, we are able to serve fresh tuna that has never been frozen. This unfrozen tuna is prized for its signature melt-in-your-mouth sweetness. At our hotel, you can enjoy it as classic sashimi served with grated yam (tororo) and mountain wasabi, or explore other preparations such as tuna cutlets and oven-baked dishes.

■ A Diverse Menu Showcasing Okinawa's Culinary Culture

For our Daily Chanpuru selection, you can experience the diversity of Okinawa’s stir-fry culture with a rotating menu featuring classics like Goya Chanpuru (bitter melon stir-fry) and Kubu Irichi (a sautéed kelp dish). At our Okinawa Soba Corner, we serve a traditional pork-bone and bonito-based broth. In addition to standard noodles, you can try our unique Mozuku Noodles, infused with local Okinawan seaweed, or Yomogi Noodles, which offer a delicate, herbal bitterness. Feel free to create your own style by pairing these noodles with our Chinese-style or Western-style soups.
