DBJ Green Building Certification
On August 8, 2025, Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa was awarded the DBJ Green Building Certification, recognizing it as a building with exceptional consideration for the environment and society.
The DBJ Green Building Certification is a program established in 2011 to support real estate properties and their owners/operators who prioritize environmental and social responsibility. The certification evaluates real estate sustainability from five ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) perspectives. It is primarily used to improve the environmental performance of existing buildings and also serves as a dialogue tool for a wide range of real estate stakeholders, extending beyond technical experts in architecture and design.
