In line with the government’s new policy regarding the coronavirus under the Infectious Diseases Act which will be shifted to category 5, Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa will take the following measures.

We want to ensure that our guests are comfortable staying with us by continuing to promote basic safety and security for everyone. We ask for your continued understanding and cooperation.

Regarding Mask Wearing
Wearing a mask inside of the facility will be left to the guest’s own judgment and is optional. For our hotel staff, we determine that wearing a mask is optional and we will respect individual choice. Employees working in the kitchen will continue to wear masks for the purpose of general food hygiene.

Measures to Prevent the Further Spread of Infectious Diseases
Disinfectant and thermometers will continue to be available throughout the building. Please feel free to use them. In addition, we will continue to ventilate various spaces in the building, and in some cases, we will continue to use acrylic partitions. All of these measures will continue to be evaluated and updated on an ongoing basis.
