Enjoy Okinawa's rich nature hands-free with our Picnic Set Rental service!
With the increasing demand for outdoor activities where nature can be enjoyed without crowds of people, we have partnered with the rental service Sotolist that specializes in camping equipment so that you can enjoy outdoor spots during your stay at the hotel. Camping equipment includes things such as outdoor chairs, mini tables, awning tarps, and carry carts that are ideal for picnics. For those who do not have outdoor equipment or who cannot bring it to Okinawa, you can still enjoy an outdoor experience in Okinawa. We hope you will take this opportunity to try it out. We will provide you with a map and area information unique to Yambaru.
As you drive to the northern part of Okinawa, you can pick up your equipment at the Sotolist store in Nago, enjoy to the fullest your day camping and picnic lunch in Yambaru, and return the rented goods to the hotel at your convenience. When you return, you will still have time to enjoy dinner and the night pool. It is fun-all-day! We are happy to help you enjoy carefee experiences from casual picnics to full-scale camping.

This rental service specializes in camping equipment that allows you to make reservations up to the day before. To use it, you will need to register as a member (free of charge) on the Sotolist site (registering and log in details are only provided on the Japanese site). It is possible to rent single items or sets from this site which has the largest selection in Japan.
* Reservations can be made until noon on the previous day.
* After 12:00 noon, the next day's reservations will be closed and reservations will be accepted for the day after that.
* Customers staying at Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa can return the equipment at the hotel at your convenience by 12:00 noon at the latest on the following day.
* If you wish to return it to the hotel, you will need to fill out an application at the time you pick up your rental items.

Yambaru Picnic Map
Yagaji Island, a place famous for hiking and fishing where you can enjoy the beach and the turquoise sea!
A great leisure spot, this remote island is a treasure trove of subtropical flora and fauna as well as historic sites known to the local people. It is located at the northern base of the Motobu Peninsula and is connected to the main island by the Warumi Bridge and the Yagaji Bridge which goes across Ojima Island. It is a scenic island where you can see the calm Haneji Inland Sea, the Warumi Strait, and Kouri Island. There is a campsite at Yagaji Beach where you can swim and enjoy your day. There is also a mysterious path that can only be seen at low tide called "The Pure Road, the road of marriage."
Mangrove Forest exploration at the Higashi Fureai Hirugi Park
This is the largest mangrove forest on the main island of Okinawa and it extends down the Kesaji River. There is a walkway through the forest that is well maintained and you can enjoy strolling through the mangroves. There is an observatory along the way and the pathway is easy for walking. There are also canoe eco-tours that take you up the river from the bay.
